RedFrame Law is a "boutique"-type practice offering legal services for independent film producers. Our capacity to take on clients is limited and on a project-by-project basis.

Our Production Counsel service is customized for independent film and television producers to provide them with full service legal counsel for their projects with predictable flat fees. This service is for projects that have at least a draft production budget prepared.

For development and work outside the scope of Production Counsel, we offer flat rate and billable hour services for film projects in various stages.

Lawyer and Public SpeakerGregory has been practising law since 2009 in the areas of business, trademark and entertainment. Before his law career, Gregory worked in film and television in various roles from being a locations production assistant to a business coordinator in marketing/distribution.
In terms of public speaking, Gregory was a Toastmaster and has delivered talks, seminars, webinars, panels, and roundtables on entertainment law to a variety of audiences. He also taught for four semesters as a sessional instructor at MacEwan University and co-hosted the Legal Cut Pro entertainment law podcast with Michelle Molineux.

Lawyer, Producer, PerformerMichelle joined RedFrame Law in December 2022 as Counsel to the firm. She graduated from the University of Alberta Faculty of Law, with Distinction, in 2015, and is currently completing her Masters of Laws through Osgoode Hall Law School at York University.
While Michelle is passionate about the law, and legal studies, her lifelong passion is performing and bringing stories to life. A veteran in the film and entertainment industry, Michelle has worked as a film actor, voice artist, pop vocalist/performer, director of business affairs and a movie-of-the-week producer. She recognizes the importance of law as a tool for both helping people and making creation possible.
Outside of her creative and legal work, Michelle volunteers for the Rapid Fire Theatre Society's Board of Directors and serves as the Board secretary. She has dabbled in Toastmasters and co-hosted the Legal Cut Pro, alongside Gregory Pang.
